Micro Mastic matrix or (MM) is more durable and is highly resistant to rutting, cracking (Fracture mechanics) and solvents and has high anti-skid characteristics. Note; that conventional Stone Mastic is prone to slippery surfaces caused by excess bitumen build up on the road surface Binder shift mainly due to “contractor or manufacturing error” (excess bitumen), and the slippery nature of petroleum based residue bitumen is also a contributing factor.
