Tej Lalvani (born July 1974) is a British businessman and entrepeneur who runs the UK's largest vitamin company Vitabiotics. He is best known for being one of the Dragons on the BBC series Dragons' Den.
Career
Lalvani began working as a forklift driver and in the warehouse of his father's company Vitabiotics over twenty years ago, before replacing his father as CEO of the company.[2]
In 2013, Lalvani was named Young Entrepeneur of the Year by TiE.[3]
Dragons Den
In 2017, he became one of the Dragons on the BBC's Dragons' Den. Lalvani was a replacement for businessman Steve Parish who had been set to become a new Dragon but was unable to commit enough time to the show.[4]
Personal life
In 2011, Lalvani married Tara Ruby in London.[5] Lalvani's father is businessman Kartar Lalvani who founded Vitabiotics in 1971.[4] His mother is a former Miss India and a Miss World runner-up.[3]
Lalvani lives near Marylebone, London.[6]
