Abass Rassou (born 12 December 1986) is a Cameroonian born Rwanda footballer.[1] He is currently a free agent.

In the 2005 season he played for Sahel FC in Cameroon. On 27 April 2005 he scored his first goal for the club in a 3–2 Elite One win against Sable.[2]

In 2006 he signed for Rwandan Premier League club APR FC. They won the championship both in 2006[3] and in the next year, winning respectively their eighth and ninth titles.[4] On 4 July 2006, he scored the only goal in the Rwandan Cup final versus ATRACO.[5]

In January 2007 he won the 2007 edition of the Kagame Interclub Cup with APR. He scored the first goal of his team in the fourth minute in the final against Uganda Revenue Authority as APR won 2–1.[6]

In 2008 he signed for Moroccan club Olympique Club de Khouribga. On 14 May he scored his first goal for the club in a 3–0 Coupe de Trone win against Sidi Moumen.[7] He scored his first league goal on 20 May against Difaâ Hassani El Jadidi.

In September 2009 he returned to APR.[8] He was team captain during the next two seasons. He scored crucial goals during the 2009 edition of Rwandan Pre-Season Tournament that was won by APR, including the single goal in the semi-final and a hat-trick in the final against Kiyovu Sports.[9] He scored his first league goal after his return in a 2–0 home win against Marines.[10] Next week he scored again versus Kiyovu Sports (3–0 away win).[11] He scored then again both in the seventh and eighth round of the championship.[12] In late January he was temporarily suspended by his club due to his illicit behavior.[13] On 14 March 2010 he scored his fifth league goal from a last-minute penalty against AS Kigali as APR won 3–2.[14] He helped APR with five goals and several assists during the campaign that ended in APR winning their eleventh league title in 2010.

In the next season Rassou continued to play for APR. He scored first in the third round on 31 October in a 2–1 win against Kiyovu Sports.[15] All in all, he scored five times in the season as APR won the title again but after the dismal performance of the team in the 2011 Kagame Interclub Cup, in July 2011 he was released by APR.[16]
