American Widgeon

This photograph of a female Anas americana (American Widgeon), taken by Mdf, appears in American Widgeon. It is not only very good quality, but also pleasing to they eye and at an encyclopedic angle. Granted, the Widgeon is partially submerged, but if anything this helps us observe its behaviour and how it swims. NauticaShades 09:41, 22 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Weak support. The only thing I don't like is how half of the body is cut off by the water. I suppose it could show the behavior of the animal in the water, but I would still rather see a picture taken on the ground or in the air. --Tewy 23:36, 21 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
