In 1892, they checked the 1890 census took see if Santa Clause was still alive and Santa Clause was still alive according to the 1890 census so they thought that Santa Clause died in the year 1890 or possibly the year 1891. In 1893, they voted on what year Santa Clause died on (1890 or 1891) and more people agreed on that Santa Clause died in 1891. Santa Clause II got married in the year 1896 and Santa Clause II had a baby in 1899 and named him Santa Clause III and that created father's day.
