Babaganouj are an Australian indie rock band formed in [[Brisbane]], [[Australia]] in 2011 by [[Charles Sale]], [[Harriette Pillbeam]] and [[Pete Schnapps]] after Sales' former band [[Yves Klein Blue]] disbanded in late 2010. The original line up consisted of Sale on lead vocals and [[guitar]], Pillbeam on [[bass guitar]] and backing vocals and Schnapps (later replaced by [[Jack Gleeson]]) on [[drums]]. In 2012 [[Ruby McGregor]] from [[Go Violets|The Go Violets]] was added as a fourth member and the [[Rhythm guitar|rhythm guitarist]] just after the release of the EP [[Sife Lucks]]. Pillbeam had also joined the Go Violets in 2012 replacing former bassist [[Christyana Kim]]. McGregor made her debut in the video for [[Love Loathe Love You]].
