Valamis Group Ltd

Hi Ivan.Andreev, those two awards you have added, they are non notable. They are given to loads of companies and are considered not notable. Please remove them, or I will need to remove them myself, by reverting the article. scope_creep (talk) 09:41, 2 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome!

Hello, Ivan.Andreev, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I noticed that one of the first articles you edited was Valamis Group Ltd., which appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.

To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or another editor to proofread it. See our help page on userspace drafts for more details. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.

One rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)

In addition, if you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for any contribution you make, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation to comply with our terms our use and policy on paid editing.

Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}} before the question. Again, welcome! -- Marchjuly (talk) 08:08, 3 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The post you left on my user talk page gives the impression that you're somehow connected to Valamis Group Ltd.. If that's case, you need to carefully read through the pages linked to in the above template related to conflict of editing and makes sure to follow the things they suggest. If you're not connected to the company in any way. please clarify why your referred to the Valmis Group logo as "our logo" and who is the "we" you're referring to in "We want to provide to provide more data about the company". -- Marchjuly (talk) 08:14, 3 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Disclosure

Information icon Hello, Ivan.Andreev. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your COI when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Also please note that editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you.

Disclosure

Ivan.Andreev, you need to undergo disclosure, if you are being paid by Valamis Group Ltd per WP:COIPAYDISCLOSE. scope_creep (talk) 12:28, 3 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I'm a representative of the company. And I'm open to "play" on the Wiki rules and terms, if needed to suggest edits via "talk", we will do so. -- Ivan.Andreev (talk) 12:43, 3 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Ivan.Andreev. I'm wondering if you would mind clarifying a couple of things.
  1. What does "representative of the company" mean? Does it mean you are an employee or officer of the company? Does it mean you are a private contractor or work for the another company and that Valamis Group Ltd is one of your clients? It would help others help you if you could clarify this.
  2. Were you paid or did you receive any other type of compensation from either Valamis Group Ltd or some other company to create a Wikipedia article about Valamis Group Ltd? Were you instructed to create an article about Valamis Group Ltd as part of your job?
  3. Why do you keep using the word "we" in your posts? For example, you posted above if needed to suggest edits via "talk", we will do so. Is there anyone else besides yourself using this Wikipedia account to edit?
Questions one and two are important because they will help others determine whether WP:PAID applies to your editing. You should be aware that although COI editing is not expressly prohibited by Wikipedia, undisclosed paid editing is and paid contributions without disclosure are against the Wikimedia Foundations terms of use. While the Wikipedia community might be willing to assume good faith and cut you some slack with respect to ordinary COI editing mistakes; the community will not be so forgiving if it feels you're making undisclosed paid edits, and your account will likely be indefinitely blocked or you could possibly even be banned depending on the circumstances. So, it's really best to be as up front and transparent as possible with stuff like this. So, far you really do appear to be doing your best to adhere to relevant COI editing guidelines, so clarifying this will only further ensure the commnunity that you are really WP:HERE. FWIW, there are quite a number of COI/PAID editors who have no problems with others because they adhere to relevant policies and guidelines without question or hesitation.
Question three has to do with "role accounts" and "shared accounts", both of which are not permitted by Wikipedia. Bascially, it's one person per account; so, if by chance you might have let others use this account to edit, please stop that and ask them to create their own accounts. -- Marchjuly (talk) 14:13, 3 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Hello Marchjuly, and thank you for your help. Answering your questions:
  1. I'm an employee of the Valamis Group Ltd.
  2. No, and no. it was my effort, to provide information about the company in English, and to improve company's rich card in Google search, by adding and connecting data through Google Knowledge Graph.
  3. It's 100% only my account and only I'm using it. By we I meant company, I'm not excluding that some other employees can start adding some information in other languages, that's why I might use we. I can assure that I will inform other specialists about terms and way of working with Wiki community. From my perspective, I'm trying my best to do so, and acting according to terms of use. -- Ivan.Andreev (talk) 14:44, 3 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
