Because I'm good.

it’s not the end of the world

I’m sorry this seems to have upset you so much. The problem is that both of you were edit warring, and during the AN3 discussion you both attempted to explain away your actions and paint the other edit warrior as “the bad guy.” That is why I felt it necessary to issue these blocks.

Neither of you seem to get that there is no “good guy” in an edit war. By definition it takes a minimum of two people to edit war, and they are both in the wrong as edit warring is never the right thing to do. While there are a few exceptions, none of them would seem to apply in this case as the dispute was about the reliability of sources. So, if your responses at the thread had been to indicate that you knew you were edit warring, and that you now understood that you absolutely should not do so and would follow bold, revert, discuss in the future you almost certainly would not be blocked right now. I really didn’t want to, but I felt like neither of you gave me much choice. (cross posting to both of you) Beeblebrox (talk) 02:20, 20 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Beeblebrox: I want to apologize for lashing out inappropriately. What he was saying was interpreted by me as being very patronizing and my ego got the best of me. I noticed after lurking for a bit afterward that pro wrestling seems to be an issue for many of you guys, so I wanted to make sure I apologized for inadvertently adding to it, as something like this could have just as easily have happened in the Motorsport articles I usually stick to. I'll keep away from wrestling articles, at least until it calms down over there and I promise you nor anyone else will have to ask me to not interact with that user again.
Also, if you could revdelete [1] this, that would be appreciated. That was just silly of me. GhostOfDanGurney (talk) 06:48, 21 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Apology accepted. I am hopeful that this was learning experience for all involved and won’t happen again. There is in fact a proposal right now at the admin noticeboard to impose sanctions on all pro wrestling articles in order to help deal more efficiently witht he never-ending problems of this nature over there.
I’m not sure I can revdel that for you though, as the policy states RevisionDelete does not exist to remove "ordinary" offensive comments and incivility, or unwise choices of wording between users. I’d be happy to just act like it never happened though. Beeblebrox (talk) 19:42, 21 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Pro wrestling sanctions

Your recent edits re-adding "In wrestling" sections (ex: Silas Young) is against the established consensus here.
