Srikanth (born 1979 in channapatna) is a Kannada film editor who has worked in the film industry since 1996. He has worked in Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, English language films.He was awarded the Best Editor by State Govt of Karnataka for his amazing work in Ugramm[2] a Kannada language movie.

Career

Srikanth[3] joined as an Office Boy at Visonworld, Bangalore in 1996. Later he joined in Mohan studio and then in Balaji Telefilms and worked for many famous serials like Maneyodhu Morru Bhagilu,Kumkuma Bhagya etc. produced by Balaji Telefilms and worked in the documentaries, Feature Films, corporate films,commercials and fiction episodes and in Suprabhat Channel,Udaya TV, ETV,ZEE TV Channels.[4] He started his own studio in 2003 by name "srikanth Studios", and produced a serial katakateya kathegalu which was telecasted in Zee Kannada. He worked on Documentary for Film Division Mumbai - “GANGA KAVERI” in the year 2009,on “PLASTIC Waste AWARENESS” for BBMP and some of the production are in pipelines.[5]. He was a co-producer for the Madipu Tulu film ,which had won both National and State Award.[6].[7].[8].
