Kizuna AI (Japanese: キズナアイ), also known as Ai Kizuna in western order, is a Japanese virtual YouTuber and self-proclaimed artificial intelligence.[5] Kizuna Ai operates two YouTube channels, "A.I.Channel" and "A.I.Games," which as of May 2018 have more than 2.7 million subscribers and 142 million views combined.
Kizuna AI is the ambassador for one of JNTO's Japanese tourism campaigns, Kizuna AI Come to Japan![6]
Kizuna AI hosts a television variety show titled Kizuna Ai no BEAT Scramble (キズナアイのBEATスクランブル, Kizuna Ai no BEAT Sukuranburu), which is scheduled to air from April 6, 2018.[7]
Kizuna AI also voices Hachi in the anime television series Magical Girl Site, which is scheduled to air from the same day.[8] This is her first anime work.
On July 15, 2018, AI released her first digital single titled "Hello, Morning."[9]
Kizuna Ai is apparently a huge fan of Love Live! and Love Live! School Idol Festival, and her favorite character is Nico Yazawa. There are many videos of her scouting on Nico's birthday in her gacha.[10]
