Afterimage (Polish: Powidoki) is a 2016 Polish drama film directed by Andrzej Wajda.[1] It was screened in the Masters section at the 2016 Toronto International Film Festival.[2] It was selected as the Polish entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 89th Academy Awards but it was not nominated.[3][4] It is the final film by Wajda who died in October 2016.
