Shri Suman Kumar Mullick was born in Patna,(Bihar) to Shri. Bhubaneswar Prasad Mullick and Smt. Yashoda Devi. He did his Matriculation from Patna Collegiate High School, Patna and Graduation from College of Commerce, Patna. After that he persued M.A. in Political Science from Millat College, Darbhanga,Bihar. Again he persued M.A. in History from Patna University, and Management from Darbhanga House, Patna University. He earned his LL.B degree from Law College, Patna University. He rejected the offer of Bihar Police job and as a Assistant Branch Manager in Lucknow Gramin Bank with good annual salary package. He decided to enter in politics to serve the people and to solve their problems in the year 1981.
