Swedish students receive economic help from the Swedish National Board of Student Aid (CSN) for studying. Every student is entitled to 12 semesters of allowances and loans, totaling 2,230 SEKper week (June 2016: 261 EUR, 268 USD, 185 GBP) for full-time studies (after 1 July 2006). Allowances are usually 699 SEK per week (June 2016: 75 EUR; 84 USD; 58 GBP) with loans covering the rest. The limits for loans and allowances may be substantially increased under certain circumstances.

Swedish students receives help from the Swedish National Board of Student Aid (CSN). CSN is a Swedish Government authority that is sending out financial aid for studies. This includes loans and grants for students that is studying in Sweden or abroad in another country.[1] Depending on what type of student finance you will receive, you have to meet different requirements to be able to receive it. The most important ones are Study allowance, student grants and loans, education entry grant and if you are a citizen or not. All these rules have requirements that you will have to meet to be able to get student finance from that section that you want. [2]
