Personal
Despite a Polish username I am English. I am from Dorset but have lived and worked in London for many years.

Track record
I edited from 2005-10 as User:Staffelde (6,000+ edits), subsequently to 2012 as User:HeartofaDog (26,000+ edits), and to 2014 as User:Jsmith1000 (5,000+ edits).

(I have a bad habit of giving up and forgetting my password while away, so have to create a new account each time I come back).

Wiki activities
I tend to focus on articles on Christian buildings (and redlinks arising from them), although I occasionally look at other things, particularly pictures.

I translate from a number of European languages: I've listed the ones I use most often but will tackle most of them (except Hungarian, Erse, Basque).

I've no interest in admin stuff, and even less in policing.

Editing profile
I dislike infoboxes and the spelling "facade" without the cedilla, because it then spells FAKADE - and is thus wrong and illogical.

As for communications, I fear I may lack a sense of humour.

By the way, casual reader, this is how you place commas in a complicated opening biog sentence: :MOS:NICKCRUFT Eustachiusz (talk) 18:08, 22 September 2018 (UTC)
