Royal Suva Yacht Club (RSYC)

The Royal Suva Yacht Club was founded in 1940 by the first Commodore C T.M. McGuire. The club was originally located closer to town, with the current building was built in its current location around 1940. The Royal Suva Yacht Club offers a complete range of facilities to boat owners plus social facilities for its members. They also host Game Fishing competitions and promote junior sailing.

Located in Walu Bay, Suva, the club offers a wonderful view of tropical sunsets with a garden bar and Galley Restaurant which offers great meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner with last orders at 9pm. The restaurant is closed on Mondays.

There are several mooring facilities and a trailer park available to accommodate both members as well visitors on a first come first serve basis.

Security is provided on a 24 hour basis and it is open seven days a week.

The club's history is evident throughout the club premises with memorabilia of trophies and photos[1]. The club hosts private events and club events with the various facilities available for hire.
