Hybrid Incompatibility

My article will primarily discuss the genetic basis of hybrid incompatibility in its various forms (sterility, lethality, etc.). The beginning of the article will give a brief overview of hybrids and hybrid incompatibility, and will then outline the individual forms of incompatibility. In the discussion of each form, the genetic basis (if it is known) will be outlined, and for forms where the basis is unknown there will be credible, peer-reviewed current research on the topic. Wherever possible, examples will be used to highlight the discussion (e.g. sterility of mules).
