The shopping centre has since undergone further development, moving in a very Westfield direction. It is also home to a growing drug culture, with dealers moving in from Nelson Bay, or as it has become locally known, Ice Bay, to do their dealings in the close town. It houses a very large community of the emo-subculture, but it mainly left for derelicts and the locally known 'scatters'. It is also home to the former English Prime Minister, Bunto Jay Hancock. |
