Biography
[edit]I was born and raised in Iowa, then trotted the world a bit doing humanitarian aid work. I was a military UAS pilot for four years who deployed to Afghanistan in 2013, and am a general aviation enthusiast.
Education and Experience
[edit]Certificate in Leadership from University of Northern Iowa (2006).
A.A.S. in Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Flight Operation from Cochise College (2013).
B.A. in Political Science with a minor in International Relations from University of Northern Iowa (2006).
MDiv. from Fuller Theological Seminary (2016).
Ordained Elder in the Church of the Nazarene (2018).
Military Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) operator with approx. 620 hours in the RQ-7B (450 Combat hours) and 90 hours logged in the RQ-7(SIM). Veteran of the Afghanistan War. Civilian Private Pilot (VFR) with 60 hours in the Cessna 172M and 5 hours in the Piper J-5C (685 flight hours total).
