What's wrong with using magazine scans as a source?
Are all magazine scans strictly copyrighted? What should I do instead? There is no article regarding the comparo between the Lotus, the Porsche, and the BMW, but I found some scans and uploaded them to Imgur. 2607:FB90:2782:605E:0:49:8250:6901 (talk) 18:59, 10 June 2016 (UTC)

:Most of your edits seem to simply be reinstating some incorrect performance statistics. No unmodified Carlton was ever capable of 190 mph. I would strongly advise against adding information about modified cars. The standard specifications of the car are well-documented and there's really no reason to change them at this point. If you want to cite a magazine article, do so by using the Cite journal Wikipedia template -- do not simply upload scans of the article. --ColinMB (talk) 15:01, 12 June 2016 (UTC)

My citations are legit
The pictures come directly from Road & Track. The video is a legit 1/4-mile run of the 1989 prototype. You're just jealous because your dream car is a Nissan GT-R NISMO which is nowhere near the Lotus sedan in top speed or from 0-130mph. 2607:FB90:A4A1:F90E:0:47:B807:C001 (talk) 07:59, 5 August 2016 (UTC)
:As far as I can tell, there is no mention of the Lotus Carlton/Omega in the November 1989 Road & Track. The "legit" video is clearly a video game or simulation, and carries no weight whatsoever as a reliable source. --ColinMB (talk) 10:55, 5 August 2016 (UTC)

:By the way, I just read that last section of your article. The 0-300kph comparo was just a joke and photoshopped. I added that to mock Porsche and BMW fans a long time ago. But who cares about linking to actual articles anymore, it's 2016, not 1945. Don't get offended when someone uploads scans from magazine pages or articles. Not everyone needs to read 200,000 words in an article. ::I'm not sure to which article you're referring, but if you're suggesting that Wikipedia articles should not require citations for extraordinary claims, then I would ask you to please read about when to cite. --ColinMB (talk) 10:55, 5 August 2016 (UTC)
