Dr. Jerry Milner is an American politician and social worker, currently serving as the Acting Commissioner of the Administration for Children and Families of the US Government.[1][2] He also currently oversees the Family and Youth Services Bureau (FYSB) and Children's Bureau (CB).[3][4]

Education and career

Milner graduated from Auburn University with an undergraduate degree in political science, and received graduate degrees in social work from the University of Alabama.[5]

Milner was previously the Vice President for Child Welfare Practice at the Center for the Support of Families and the state child welfare director in Alabama. He was appointed to his role within the Trump Administration in June 2017.[6]
