Please don't change the End of civilization article without consensus, there was no consensus for this. Reverted it all back. I realize you posted on the page and no one responded but I never saw it until now. There are good reasons for how it is, and the proposed change has a number of problems. -- [[User:Stbalbach|Stbalbach]] 20:43, 4 November 2006 (UTC)

Hi, I'm not sure that your decision to delete this link is right.
I think it is quite useful to know about such application.
I can't write in English good enough to write an article about such kind of applications, but if you understand Russian or Ukrainian I can prepare materials on one of named language.

Thanks!

I noted that peppercorn was changed from a redirect to an article, but never got around to reinstating the redirect. Thanks for doing it! By the way, you should give edit summaries to your edits. Great work. — Edward Z. Yang(Talk) 22:38, 31 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Gandhiindia1.jpg

Hi,

Refer to Image:Gandhiindia1.jpg. Can you please specify the source of the photograph. Also, there is a genuine doubt on its authenticity as stated in the image summary recorded some time back by an anonymous IP. I seem to share the concerns raised by him and feel that even if its free, it should not be used if its doctored.

Regards,

Grand Supercycle

Nice edits. Keep it up. Regards, Punanimal

Can you tell me your (Nirvana2031) name because I need it to cite this article. Also let me know of any major contributions you have made.

Chilli pepper

Hi Nirvana -

I would personally prefer the spelling Chilli pepper as well - before today I had no idea there was any other, but carrying out a Google test revealed that Chili pepper seems to be by far the most widely used so I put in the request for that. Would you like the survey changed? With the US contingent it seems unlikely Chilli would win the day, though. — SteveRwanda 15:05, 10 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Warning sign
This media may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:Leedsuniversity.JPG. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then there needs to be an argument why we have the right to use the media on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then it needs to be specified where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then one should be added. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media qualifies as fair use, consider reading fair use, and then use a tag such as {{fairusein|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other media, consider checking that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. GeeJo (t)(c) • 20:15, 23 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please also note that I've also just uploaded a free licence alternative image at much higher resolution to the Commons, courtesy of Leeds City Council, located here. GeeJo (t)(c) • 20:15, 23 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
