In 2011, Koon announced quitting from gymnastics for good. Reports cite that there have been numerous problems with the National Team Coach [[Elena Kholodova]]. Reports claim that Kholodova is said to have mistreated Koon, forcing her to train when injured and was denied attention from health professionals just before the [[2010 Commonwealth Games]] in Dehli.

Elaine Koon (born c.1993) is a Malaysian rhythmic gymnast. She won one gold, one silver and two bronze medal at the 2010 Commonwealth Games.[1]
