I always thought of her as more of a tribal chieftain than a queen, but her article calls her a queen, so maybe that's the consensus among people who know more about the subject than I do. If so, yeah, she should probably be added. [[User:Themill|Ştefan] 19:17, 4 December 2006 (UTC)

Regents Should Be Removed

People listed as regents should be remove. If they're regents, they're regents, not Queen regnants. 24.14.120.92 04:08, 10 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Isn't this list redundant when there is a category as well? --Peacenik 11:01, 21 Mar 2005 (UTC)

Russian Queen Regnant

Why aren;'t there any Russian Queen Regnants? There were quite a few of them, from Olga (who might be technically controversial) to Elizabeth to Catherine II. I can't edit Wiki very well, so I'll put in the names, maybe someone can help me syntax it?

Because they were techincally empresses Yanksta x 10:05, 8 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Technically you're right. However also technically, the word queen was never used in Russia nor in any country outside of Western Europe (Czarina, Pharaoh) - each of these is slightly different. I was interpreting "queen" to mean female head of state in a monarchy. At least, thats the best universal definition I can currently think of. If you think of anything, please get back to me. Err, anybody have sources about these queens? I am not sure that all of them are regent queen. Draconins 09:46, 20 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
