Richview Collegiate Institute is a secondary school in Etobicoke, a suburb in the west end of Toronto, Ontario. It is in the Toronto District School Board.

The school was founded in 1958. Richview’s Latin motto, "Monumentum Aere Perennius" means "a monument more lasting than bronze". Its traditional rival is the Etobicoke Collegiate Institute "Rams" to the south. Richview's current Principal is Kim Robinson, and the two Vice Principals are Joanne Zimny and Donna Drummond. The school is known for its excellent academic courses and about one-third of the students are enrolled in the extensive French Immersion programme. Approximately 90 percent of students pursue post-secondary education.

Richview is best known for its Football team, the only team to win the West Division title since its creation. 2005 was a succesful season for RCI with a surprise victory over their main rivals at Etobicoke Collegiate Institute, leading to a win for the Toronto District School Board Championship.

Richview also has an elite power cheerleading team, which cheers ar football games, and compete at a national level throughout the year. They are ranked 1st in Canada.

The Baseball team also had a excellent season in 2006. Coming off an 0-8 season in 2005, the team went 1-5 in the regular season. However, in the playoffs, they played exceptional baseball and beat highly rated Etobicoke and Silverthorn to win the West division title.

Along with these came an exceptional soccer season in 2006. Richview normally is one of the low-ranked teams in this sport, but managed to lose only one game all season, with Kenji Takeda scoring 14 goals. They went on to be the West Region champions, but lost a well-played game in the semi finals. Had they won, they would've made it to the TDSB finals.

Students may also participate in: Beginner, Intermediate, or Senior Band, Stage Band, Junior Orchestra/Symphony, Senior Strings, Choir. Charity Week Activities, Fashion Show, Basketball, Volleyball, Ping Pong, Tennis, Swimming, Soccer, Cross Country, Track, Improv, Athletic Council, and Student Council.

Student Newspaper

As of 2006, Richview Collegiate currently has two school newspapers. The Richview Epiphany is the official school newspaper, which is published on an annual basis. The newly founded Richview Halo is an unofficial school newspaper run by students, which is published on a quarterly basis.
