Priyanka Gandhi (born January 11, 1971), a member of the Nehru-Gandhi political family, is the daughter, granddaughter, and great-granddaughter of Indian Prime Ministers. She was born in Delhi to Sonia and Rajiv Gandhi. She is married to Robert Vadra and they have two children.
In the 2004 parliamentary elections, she was her mother's campaign manager and helped supervise her brother Rahul Gandhi's campaign. Notwithstanding, she has said, "I have said it a thousand times, I am not interested in joining politics..."
But very lately (June 2004), she has indicated that she will bear responsibilities in the Congress Party in the state of Uttar Pradesh, and this has also been reported in the media.
