Hello, I'm HaeB. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to :Disneyland with the Death Penalty seemed less than neutral and has been removed. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. <!-- Template:uw-npov1 --> HaeB (talk) 06:25, 23 March 2020 (UTC)

Please do not move a page to a title that is harder to follow, or move it unilaterally against naming conventions or consensus, as you did to :Pulau Ubin. This includes making page moves while a discussion remains underway. We have some guidelines to help with deciding what title is best for a subject. If you would like to experiment with page titles and moving, please use the test Wikipedia. Both Pulau Ubin and Pulau Tekong are referred as such in English media.<!-- Template:uw-move2 --> robertsky (talk) 08:30, 28 March 2020 (UTC)

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to violate Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy by adding commentary and your personal analysis into articles, as you did at :List of incidents of xenophobia and racism related to the 2019–20 coronavirus pandemic, you may be blocked from editing. Please don't refer to Aljazeera, DW and RFI as "dubious sources", especially not the latter two, which are among the better public service bodies in the world. Even if this wasn't your rationale for removing the passage, calling DW and RFI that implies a non-neutral point of view.<!-- Template:uw-npov3 --> <span style="color:#014225;font-family: sans-serif;background:#D0F0C0">Carl Fredrik</span><span style="font-size: .90em;"> talk</span> 22:14, 28 March 2020 (UTC)

Japanese text

Hey Feinoa, I need your help with the last paragraph of the Name and Etymology section of the main Singapore article. I need to render Syonan-to in Japanese, but I am not sure which of the following scripts used to write the language (kanji or kana) would be appropriate for the time period that the name came into being. I am also unsure as to the exact translation of it (Light of the South, or Light of the South Island?) I will leave you to figure this one out. Cheers, Tiger7253 (talk) 11:03, 20 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Tiger7253: Not a problem, it translates to Light of the South Island, as '-tō' (島) is a Japanese suffix which can refer to island. I've added it to reflect that. Don't worry, you're right on with the script, kanji was used instead of kana! Feinoa (talk) 11:35, 20 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

General Sanctions Notification

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

Please carefully read this information:

A community discussion has authorised the use of general sanctions for pages related to coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
The specific details of these sanctions are described here.

Broadly, general sanctions is a system of conduct regulation designed to minimise disruption in controversial topic areas. This means uninvolved administrators can impose sanctions for edits relating to these topics that do not adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, our standards of behaviour, or relevant policies. Administrators may impose sanctions such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks. An editor can only be sanctioned after he or she has been made aware that general sanctions are in effect. This notification is meant to inform you that sanctions are authorised in these topic areas, which you have been editing. It is only effective if it is logged here. Before continuing to edit pages in these topic areas, please familiarise yourself with the general sanctions system. Don't hesitate to contact me or another editor if you have any questions.

Well, the title of the article is "7 in 10 foreign residents say ‘racism exists’" so it it an example of racism, in the context of COVID-19, according to the authors.

Please see the following, await process completion

We at Wikiproject Medicine would like to thank you for your contribution now during the 2019–20 coronavirus pandemic. We are far from out of the woods with regard to the pandemic and understand that your focus may lie on coronavirus efforts.
We would still like to shine a light on our active medical community, which you are more than welcome to join. As a participant you can ask questions and get help about best practices on editing any health or medical article — on our talk-page. We are a (mostly) collegial bunch, and I do hope you feel welcome to participate. Currently there are two active communities:
