Jasmine Hyde is an English actress who has appeared on the stage[1] radio and screen.[2] She is best known for her role as the young Hilda Rumpole in the BBC Radio 4 dramatisation of Rumpole and the Penge Bungalow Murders.[3] Most recently she appeared as Jessica in Muswell Hill by Torben Betts at Richmond's Orange Tree Theatre.

In 2018 she played the lead role in Gary Sinyor’s psychological thriller The Unseen.[4]

Career

Jasmine Hyde graduated from RADA in 2000.[5] She went on to win the BBC Carleton Hobbs Award for Radio in 2000/2001.[5]

She played the lead role in Gary Sinyor’s The Unseen which opened in cinemas in December 2017. Her co-stars were Richard Flood and Simon Cotton. Her performance was highlighted by many reviewers[according to whom?] with Sight and Sound describing her as unnerving.[citation needed]

In May 2017, she appeared as Bella in Matt Parvin's JAM opposite former Harry Potter actor Harry Melling.[6]

Between 2017 and 2019 she played Frances Harrison, a vicar, in three episodes of Doctors, the daily soap opera shown on BBC One.

Personal life

Jasmine Hyde is married and has a son.[7]
