Gwendolyn Angeline Albert Maria Rutten (born 26 June 1975) is a Belgian politician. She is the chairwoman of the Flemish liberal party. On 11 January 2017 she resigned from the Flemish Parliament in order to prepare her party for the local election of 2018.
Rutten was born in Hasselt, and read Law and International Politics at the Catholic University of Leuven.[1]
She is also city councillor in Aarschot since 1 January 2007, and schepen since 1 January 2013.[2]
