[[WP:BLP]] does list how to handle articles regarding yourself (under [[WP:BLPSELF]]) - we came to the conclusion that your concerns are valid here, along with my admittedly poor sourcing (see the pages talk page for more on this) and so we removed the statements pending more reliable sources becoming present, exemplified by the fact that, as you have pointed out, these accusations aren't really relevant to the development of the game. A select few newer editors seem to be heading against this decision however and are adding back the disputed content. I have the page on my watchlist so will ensure to remove it if it appears again, but if you have any further concerns, you can contact me here or via email through [[Special:EmailUser/Ed6767]], or follow the procedure at [[WP:BLPSELF]]. Correct procedure for removing defamatory content
Hello,
You commented on my talk page to let me know that if there is defamatory material about myself on a page, I must follow the correct procedure listed at WP:BLP.
I checked WP:BLP, and I did not find a section describing the correct procedure for alerting Wikipedia about defamatory material. What is the correct procedure?
The information at the bottom of the Yandere Simulator page does not maintain a NPOV. It's a section added to the page purely primarily to disparage the subject. The articles "sourced" art not verifiable, but are tabloid gossip articles.
I am not a public figure; I am a programmer working on an indie game. I am a low-profile individual. Random gossip and drama about current events does not belong on the Yandere Simulator page.
The fact of the matter is that a rival game developer spread lies about me "threatening suicide" as a smear campaign, and these lies have made it onto the Wikipedia article. Your assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated. B.A.B.E. (talk) 05:17, 29 July 2020 (UTC)
