:Thank you, east718, and all of you who aided me in getting access to my account back. Now that this is over, would I be allowed to edit Tokusatsu translations on said pages, or am I in danger of having this happen again? I assume given the... sensitive nature of things at the moment, I should probably post on Talk pages before actually making changes? Also, am I allowed to clean up my talk page and get rid of all of this? DarknessSavior (talk) 17:23, 30 January 2015 (UTC) |

::It would probably be best to edit other topics for now since feelings are still raw, but I don't think you'd get in any trouble for starting talkpage discussions. And yes, you can get rid of these messages, see WP:UP#OWN for what you can/can't do on your talkpage. — east718 | talk | 17:48, 30 January 2015 (UTC) |

::: Wait, so if I go editing Tokusatsu stuff, even if I discuss it on a Talk page first, I could find myself in this situation again? Do Wiki admins not see how this could potentially scare away people from editing in this first place? The whole reason I didn't really bother editing Toku stuff much in the past is because editors like Ryulong acted like they WP:OWN the article and get people in trouble (for what basically amounts to nothing) for editing these pages. He's known in the entire Toku community for doing that, and even after he's been banned it's going to continue? :::*I won't sugar-coat it; yes, if you walk back into the Toku area in the next couple of weeks, it's likely that an admin will, at the very least, come in and investigate exactly what it is you're doing; at worst, they'll drop the banhammer once again. I have to echo east718's comment; I'd go and immerse yourself in some other areas for the next couple of weeks or so, and then gradually work your way through any Toku articles where there are obvious errors. Feelings are running very high right now, and it's probably best to tippy-toe your way around for a little bit - it'll benefit you in the long run. ::::: I am familiar with Toku from a distance because I helped categorize and check the pages to help Ryulong deal with actual issues from certain sockpuppets. The area is sensitive because of the situation which persisted for so many years. Many articles have obvious errors, but these issues need to be corrected by experienced and familiar editors for the next few weeks due to the ArbCom sanctions. It is simply too soon and the most basic of translation errors runs up against the fact that most En.wiki users cannot read Japanese. They won't know the difference between a good edit and a bad one - and all it takes it one misreading to result in another block. It should be fine in time - the community process usually works, but I wouldn't test the limits of it. Make all corrections super clear in edit summaries - just to be safe.
