Luigi Giovanni Iannucci (born 9 September 1973), known professionally as Giovanni Iannucci, is an influential American skateboarder. Iannucci is widely known in the skateboard community for his effortless skating style.'I'd rather see Gino push.'

Early Life

Born Luigi Giovanni Iannucci in Long Island, New York,[1] he took his grandfather's nickname, Gino, to tell him apart from two cousins also called Luigi.[2] He started to skateboard in about 1987.[3] His early influences included Natas Kaupas and the Santa Monica Airlines Skateboard team based in Santa Monica, California, and also H-Streep pro Matt Hensley.[4] Quit skateboarding to play ice hockey for a few months in the late 1980s.[5]
