Wikipedia:Ignore all rules

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This is an old revision of this page, as edited by El Sandifer (talk | contribs) at 21:29, 5 April 2005 (Fair enough, but the declaration that it's "not policy" is still erroneous.). The present address (URL) is a permanent link to this revision, which may differ significantly from the current revision.

This page dates to 2002. At the time it was proposed, there were only 13 regular contributors, and such policy as existed at all was indeed frequently ignored with few reprecussions. Although it has never been formally rescinded (or ratified, for that matter), it's unclear that it applies nowadays. See its talk page for discussion.

One of Wikipedia's rules to consider:

If rules make you nervous and depressed, and not desirous of participating in the Wiki, then ignore them and go about your business.
