Banbhori (also spelt as Banbhauri) is a village in Hisar (also known as Hissar) district of Haryana province of northwestern India. The place is known for its local deity (Devi), which is worshipped by people who originally hail from around that area. There are families that have left the area generations back, and still come to worship the deity, especially after new birth and marriage in the family. Special festivities are organised at the time of Navratri.
