This is begging for a citation: "the rabbis who lived in a Greek-influenced context may have intended that Esther's skin was a normal shade of yellow." This is a lovely idea, but demands to be published then cited here to give credit to its author and whoever ends up publishing it. That the Greek color boundary perception was an influence in characterizing Esther's color as יְרַקְרוֹקֶת is an original idea. The citation here point to an article on Greek color perception, not on Esther's color.
