Restore redirect

Since the current content is largely the work of a banned (per WP:3X) sockmaster who is also a suspected sockpuppet, does anyone object to restoring the revision of 9 October 2015 as I did in this edit. Given their issues with copyvios I suspect much of it will have to be WP:RD1 redacted anyway. Pinging @Onel5969, RoseGold1250, M.Bitton, and NightWolf1223: 2A03:F80:32:194:71:227:81:1 (talk) 23:47, 3 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@2A03:F80:32:194:71:227:81:1: The section it used to redirect to no longer exists. Why not try to save it (if at all possible)? M.Bitton (talk) 23:55, 3 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@M.Bitton: I guess the key phrase here is if at all possible. I agree that blocked editors shouldn't be automatically reverted the important thing is building the encyclopedia not how it gets built. That said the potential for copy problems is significant. I guess I could try to take a look but I'm not convinced the redirect would be a slam dunk at WP:RFD given it's age. I guess the big problem is I'll be on another long wiki-break in about 24 hours here and I'm reluctant to push all the work associated in dealing with copy problems onto others. 2A03:F80:32:194:71:227:81:1 (talk) 00:01, 4 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@2A03:F80:32:194:71:227:81:1: Unfortunately, I don't know anything about the subject to be of any help. Have you thought about recreating the old "comic book" section which was deleted at some point after 2018? M.Bitton (talk) 00:11, 4 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@M.Bitton: I think that's worth trying, give me a few minutes to investigate the history and talk page, in case there's a consensus for it's removal somewhere. 2A03:F80:32:194:71:227:81:1 (talk) 00:13, 4 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@M.Bitton: The section is still there, it was just moved in this edit all that needs to be done to restore a good redirect is to change the target to Let Me In (film)#Other media and remove {{main|Let Me In: Crossroads}} from that section, thoughts? 2A03:F80:32:194:71:227:81:1 (talk) 00:20, 4 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
P.S. as a little side note, echo notifications don't work for IPs so it's not neccessary to ping me. mw:Manual:Echo has all the details. 2A03:F80:32:194:71:227:81:1 (talk) 00:26, 4 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@2A03:F80:32:194:71:227:81:1: I know, it's just a force of habit. I suggest you check with those who are familiar with the subject. Best, M.Bitton (talk) 20:37, 4 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@M.Bitton: You know, I'm gone in a few hours, and this isn't really my area. The information is on the talk page so anyone who does due diligence will see the option available. And some of the people pinged have yet to weigh in. I guess my assessment is to salvage if salvageable, but if not we've now identified a good redirect target. Cheers, 2A03:F80:32:194:71:227:81:1 (talk) 00:17, 5 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
