Karwani Isalami International is a non political, non-profitable, religious, social and spiritual movement founded by Shaykh Hami in 2004. Since its very inception, Karwan Islami of course with the overwhelming support of people from all shades of life is gradually progressing towards achieving the objectives of universal brotherhood, peace, unity among people of all faiths by spreading the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) Peace Be Upon Him

The main objective of the movement led by founder patron, who is a renowned religious scholar, is to achieve universal brotherhood by enriching the humanity in the light of teachings of Islam and also the developments that are taking place across the world[1]

The organisation is known for its campaigns to ban liquor,[2] and against restrictions placed by the central government of India on the Triple Talaq.[3][4] It is also notable for levelling allegations of fraud against the School Education Department of Kashmir, claiming money was being allocated to "non-existent" schools.[5]

The president and chairman of the organisation is Ghulam Rasool Hami.[6] In 2016, Hami appealed for people to "come forward and talk to each other" as a means of ending the Kashmir conflict.[7] In 2018, he criticised what he claimed was a "meagre monthly salary" being paid to imams, and proposed a bill to increase their salary.[8]
