  • Transpersonal – The transpersonal perspective places a stronger focus on the spiritual facet of human experience. It is not a set of techniques so much as a willingness to help a client explore spirituality and/or transcendent states of consciousness. Transpersonal psychology is concerned with helping clients achieve their highest potential

Transpersonal psychology is also concerned with examining the neurological change that occur to the brain during transcendence.

This source will be used to define transpersonal psychology. In my own words, it focuses on understanding the dynamics of transcendence, which is different for everyone. It aims to help a person reach their own transcendence. Transpersonal psychology is also concerned with examining the neurological changes that the brain goes through during transcendence.
