This source will be used to define transpersonal psychology. In my own words, it focuses on understanding the dynamics of transcendence, which is different for everyone. It aims to help a person reach their own transcendence. Transpersonal psychology is also concerned with examining the neurological changes that the brain goes through during transcendence.
