Dana Trent (née Lewman, born 1981) also know as J. Dana Trent is an American author, professor, and minister from Dana, Indiana.[1] Trent is currently full-time Humanities faculty at Wake Tech Community College in Raleigh, North Carolina.[2] Trent is the author of Saffron Cross: The Unlikely Story of How a Christian Minister Married a Hindu Monk (Fresh Air Books, 2013),[3] For Sabbath’s Sake: Embracing Your Need for Rest, Worship, and Community (Upper Room Books, 2017),[4] One Breath at a Time: A Skeptic’s Guide to Christian Meditation (Upper Room Books, 2019),[5] and Dessert First: Preparing for Death While Savoring Life (Chalice Press, 2019).[6]
