- Following a request for comment, F7 (invalid fair-use claim) subcriterion a has been deprecated; it covered immediate deletion of non-free media with invalid fair-use tags.
- Following a request for comment, page movers were granted the
delete-redirect
userright, which allows moving a page over a single-revision redirect, regardless of that redirect's target.
- When you move a page that many editors have on their watchlist the history can be split and it might also not be possible to move it again for a while. This is because of a job queue problem. (T278350)
- Code to support some very old web browsers is being removed. This could cause issues in those browsers. (T277803)
- A community consultation on the Arbitration Committee discretionary sanctions procedure is open until April 25.

- Following an RfC, consensus was found that third party appeals are allowed but discouraged.
- The 2021 Desysop Policy RfC was closed with no consensus. Consensus was found in a previous RfC for a community based desysop procedure, though the procedure proposed in the 2021 RfC did not gain consensus.
- The user group

- The community consultation on the Arbitration Committee discretionary sanctions procedure was closed, and an initial draft based on feedback from the now closed consultation is expected to be released in early June to early July for community review.
Deletion of Draft:Ramdas Padhye(ventriloquist)
I was working on the article on Ramdas Padhye and was working on it under Special:MyPage/Ramdas_Padhye However the article was moved to Draft:Ramdas Padhye I was still working on the article and had placed {{subst:submit}} The article was in development stage. However it was deleted due to G12: Unambiguous copyright infringement. Also there was {{OTRS pending}} How can I continue working on the draft? The draft keeps on getting deleted. Also if the draft is kept, other users can improve the article submitted by me. Please do help as I am new to wikipedia guidelines and it is difficult to write an article for me in my own words. I request you to improve the article if possible. Indiapuppet (talk) 13:34, 5 June 2021 (UTC)
- Don't start with content that someone else has written unless they have already agreed to license it appropriately. Start fresh and develop your own references and content. UninvitedCompany 11:16, 6 June 2021 (UTC)

- Consensus was reached to deprecate Wikipedia:Editor assistance.
- Following a Request for Comment the Book namespace was deprecated.
- Wikimedia previously used the IRC network Freenode. However, due to changes over who controlled the network with reports of a forceful takeover by several ex-staff members, the Wikimedia IRC Group Contacts decided to move to the new Libera Chat network. It has been reported that Wikimedia related channels on Freenode have been forcibly taken over if they pointed members to Libera. There is a migration guide and Wikimedia discussions about this.
- After a Clarification request, the Arbitration Committee modified Remedy 5 of the Antisemitism in Poland case. This means sourcing expectations are a discretionary sanction instead of being present on all articles. It also details using the talk page or the Reliable Sources Noticeboard to discuss disputed sources.

Hello, I'm Emil Shahin, how should I create my article, I give references so that it will not be deleted by you, but you still start deletion Can I call you to the number? can you give me your number? 213.172.93.26 (talk) 13:07, 10 June 2021 (UTC)
- Hello, Emil. I am genuinely pleased to make your acquaintance. We share an interest in music and composition. I regret to inform you that Wikipedia strongly discourages individuals from creating and editing articles about themselves. Please see Wikipedia:Autobiography for the rationale, history, and some narrow exceptions. Thank you for your interest in Wikipedia, and please accept my best wishes for your future in composition and performance. UninvitedCompany 14:29, 10 June 2021 (UTC)
