[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Satyajit Padhye has been reverted.

Speedy deletion nomination of Ramdas Padhye
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Ramdas Padhye, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. paid editing?
[edit]Hello Indiapuppet. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.
Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.
Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Indiapuppet. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Indiapuppet|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}
. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. Theroadislong (talk) 11:20, 26 May 2021 (UTC)
I am not directly or indirectly compensated for my edits, I am just trying to edit this page properly as it was deleted many times. If someone can edit it in better way it will serve as a source of information for others about Ramdas Padhye who is a ventriloquist and puppeteer from india.Indiapuppet (talk) 06:21, 27 May 2021 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of User:Indiapuppet/Ramdas Padhye
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on User:Indiapuppet/Ramdas Padhye requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://www.vpuppets.com/aboutme.php and https://www.vpuppets.com/traditionalpupptyshow.php. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.
Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. bonadea contributions talk 17:10, 4 June 2021 (UTC)

[edit]Your account has been blocked indefinitely for advertising or promotion and violating the Wikimedia Foundation's Terms of Use. This is because you have been making promotional edits to topics in which you have a financial stake, yet you have failed to adhere to the mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Undisclosed paid advocacy is strictly prohibited. Using this site for advertising or promotion is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, please read our guide to appealing blocks to understand more about unblock requests, and then add the text {{unblock|reason=your reason here ~~~~}}
at the end of your user talk page. For that request to be considered, you must:
- Confirm that you have read and understand the Terms of Use and paid editing disclosure requirements.

Request reason:
I am not directly or indirectly compensated for my edits, I am just trying to edit this page properly as it was deleted many times. If someone can edit it in better way it will serve as a source of information for others about Ramdas Padhye who is a ventriloquist and puppeteer from India. I am a fan of his work and when I searched wikipedia there was no mention of him. Hence I wrote the article by referrring various articles.The article is still in the development stage and I am unaware of wikipedia's policy about unambigious advertising. It would be great if someone can edit the article properly. I will adhere to all wikipedia policies and guidelines. I request you to please unblock my account. Indiapuppet (talk) 03:59, 8 July 2021 (UTC)
Decline reason:
You say in this edit that you have known Mr. Padhye and his family for years, so you aren't just a fan. I wish you well in telling the world about puppeteers, but you won't be doing it on Wikipedia, at least right now. If you want to edit about something else in the short term, please tell what topics those might be. I am declining your request. 331dot (talk) 08:26, 8 July 2021 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:
I have known Mr Padhye and his family for years means that, me and my family have been following there work over the years and know about their work. I do not know them personally at all. Neither I have met them. I am a fan of this rare art. It's my sincere request once again to please re-consider my request.I will write about Puppetry, Ventriloquism and other vaudeville arts as well as about different Indian arts and Indian personalities as they are the topics which I am interested in and know about. I will continue to improve other articles too about these subjects. I assure you that I will edit responsibly and adhere to all wikipedia guidelines. I once again request you to unblock me. Decline reason:
I, too, am not buying it. That makes three admins. You won't be unblocked to write about that. Yamla (talk) 12:44, 8 July 2021 (UTC)

Every single edit contributed by this account for the past 10 years has been to promote the Padhye family. There has not been one single edit outside of that topic. Furthermore, there are also two other accounts, Satyajit83 (talk · contribs) and Ilovemuppets (talk · contribs) who are editing in a similar fashion. I suspect you are a member of the Padhye family as permission has been provided to Wikipedia to use content from the website vpuppets by either yourself or these other associated accounts. Your editing pattern shows you are a little more than a fan and quite likely somebody with a vested interest in promoting this topic. Another administrator will be along shortly to review your unblock request. -- Longhair\talk 04:08, 8 July 2021 (UTC)
I understand that every single edit has been about Padhye family. This is because I am an ardent fan. I edited the pages because there has not been any information about them on wikipedia. Mr Padhye has been doing this art for last 54 years and trying to spread this dying art. I do not have any vested interests in them. I am just trying to make the information available to general public. I will make sure that I will adhere to all wikipedia policies and guidelines. I once again request you to unblock the account. I am a fan of this rare art of Ventriloquism and Puppetry and I feel sad that today's kids are engrossed in their phones. Padhye and family have enriched my childhood and I feel future generations should know about this art and Mr Padhye's work and about this art Indiapuppet (talk) 04:39, 8 July 2021 (UTC)

Request reason:
Longhair,331dot,talk, I understand the reason for blocking me. I request you to please restore the pages of Ramdas Padhye and Satyajit Padhye as they are drafts and can be edited properly by someone else keeping wikipedia guidelines in mind. I have written those pages with lot of research and looking at different articles about them. I understand that they are not written in a neutral way. This is my sincere request to you. Please keep the article in the Draft section as some experienced editors can edit it properly. I will not edit those articles.I also assure you that I will adhere to all the wikipedia guidelines and request you to unblock me please.I will make productive contributions to wikipedia.Indiapuppet (talk) 02:35, 15 July 2021 (UTC)
Decline reason:
Drafts that are deleted for promotional content are not generally restored unless someone is going to work on them and bring them into line with Neutral Point of View policy. You apparently have a conflict of interest and hence will not be unblocked to edit the Padhye family articles. In your next unblock request, you should tell us what subjects you want to edit. Request reason:
PhilKnight Longhair, I request you to please unblock me. I will never edit anything regarding Padhye family. My IP address is also blocked. I will contribute to wikipedia responsibly and will make sure that all my edits adhere to wikipedia policies. I will edit about performing arts and performing artistes in India. I request to restore the pages because other experienced editors will edit the pages of Ramdas Padhye and Satyajit Padhye and work on them and bring them into line with Neutral Point of View policy. The whole point of writing the article is to make it suitable for wikipedia page.I totally understand that they are not written properly and needs lots of work on it to make sure there is adherence to Neutral Point of View policy.I have collected all the references in both the pages. They just have to be rewritten properly or edit it and make it short. Since these pages are in draft section, experienced editors can work on it. I request to please restore the pages. Indiapuppet (talk) 09:21, 2 August 2021 (UTC)
Decline reason:
I'm not going to accept an unblock request that includes a lengthy exhortation about why we should restore articles or drafts that were repeatedly deleted as either unambiguous promotion or copyright violations. It seems like this is your sole interest in editing here. If other experienced editors want to create articles about these subjects, they can do so in the normal way.
