Norton 360 is a all in one computer security and maintenance package that offers a "full circle of protection". It offers a wide range of features including - Antivirus, Antispyware, Firewall, Intrusion Prevention, Vulnerability Assessment, Anti-phishing, Website Authentication, Background Scheduling of Scans, Local Backup and Restore, Online Backup and Restore, Encryption of Backup Data, Hard Drive Defragmentation, Hard Drive Cleanup and Integrated Support.

Norton 360 is different from other computer security/maitanance products as it does not send out alerts to users but rather solves problems automatically without user notification.

Norton 360 is still currently in Beta testing and is expected to go gold this year.

Requirements

System OS: Windows XP Home/XP Pro/XP Media Center 2005, Windows Vista Basic/Vista Home Premium/Vista Business/Vista Ultimate Phishing Protection: Needs Microsoft Internet Explorer v6.0 or higher Online backup: High Speed Internet connection Email Scanning: POP3-compatible email clients

Minimum Hardware Requirements

   * 300MHz or higher processor
   * 256MB of RAM minimum
   * 300MB of free hard disk space
