Expand article

[edit]

Found some possibly relavent links to expand the "Reception" section of the article. Several editors mentioned the addition of a dedicated reception and criticism section would help the article.

Tyw7, if you find any links, how 'bout we post them here so everyone can view them. TechOutsider (talk) 21:21, 29 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Another link

This is more reliable and less controversial than the articles used above. Definitely need to use it for the article. TechOutsider (talk) 21:49, 29 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Windows 7

Need some more information about Windows 7 compatibility.

Please incorporate to article. TechOutsider (talk) 22:52, 29 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

File:Norton 360 Provate Beta.jpg Nominated for speedy Deletion

[edit]
An image used in this article, File:Norton 360 Provate Beta.jpg, has been nominated for speedy deletion at Wikimedia Commons for the following reason: Copyright violations
What should I do?

Don't panic; deletions can take a little longer at Commons than they do on Wikipedia. This gives you an opportunity to contest the deletion (although please review Commons guidelines before doing so). The best way to contest this form of deletion is by posting on the image talk page.

  • If the image is non-free then you may need to upload it to Wikipedia (Commons does not allow fair use)
  • If the image isn't freely licensed and there is no fair use rationale then it cannot be uploaded or used.
  • If the image has already been deleted you may want to try Commons Undeletion Request

Merge proposal

[edit]

I propose merging Norton 360 (2006-2014) into Norton 360. The legacy product information can be put into a section. It is understandable that they might be separated, given Norton Internet Security and Norton Security as intermediaries; however, I think a redirect from the current legacy article to a section in the contemporary article could remedy this discomfort.
