This unnecessary (per WP:ONEOTHER) dab page was created in December 2011 and its creator has been blocked since March 2018. There are no links flowing to it and anyone typing "Richard Baer" will arrive at the entry delineating the commandant of Auschwitz, with a hatnote advising that "For the American writer, see Richard Baer (writer)." thus obscuring the fact that the Richard Baer (disambiguation) page even exists. The only other text on the dab page is section header "See also" with three entries (Baer (surname), Richard Barr (1917–1989), American theatre producer and Richard L. Bare (1913–2015), American director), with all three being extremely unlikely search targets for anyone typing the name "Richard Baer". In 2012, a discussion at Talk:Richard Baer#Requested move achieved consensus that the Auschwitz commandant was primary over the American Richard Baer (screenwriter). — Roman Spinner (talkcontribs) 06:31, 18 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
