I am a physicist, originally trained in high energy particle physics, but also interested in cosmology and quantum gravity. I previously worked for LIGO on the project Interactions in Understanding the Universe, which is an extension of QuarkNet. Prior to that I was a member of the team which helped set up Einstein@Home, and I made some contributions to BOINC. Before that I worked on ATLAS experiment at CERN and on the D0 experiment at Fermilab.

I taught physics at the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York from 2015 to 2017.

I am not the Quantum Ranger (but maybe someday...).
