Elymus dahuricus (also called asiatic wildrye)[1] is a species of perennial herb and is a member of the Poaceae family.[2]

The species is widespread in central and Eastern Asia.[3] This species has recently been grown in the Great plains of the United States and the prairie provinces in Canada.[4]
