Yang-Hui He

Yang-Hui He is a mathematical physicist who is currently a professor of mathematics at City, University of London [1][1], Chang-Jiang Chair professor at Nankai University [2][3] and a lecturer at Merton College, Oxford [4] working on topics related to quantum field theory, string theory, number theory and geometry. Yang is using machine-learning in the field of pure mathematics by using artificial intelligence to create new conjectures and reveal new patterns in pure mathematics.[2]

Educational and professional history

Yang received his A.B in Physics from Princeton University in 1996. He received his Masters from University of Cambridge in 1997 and his PhD from MIT in 2002 under the supervision of Amihay Hanany. [5][6]

Yang is also a fellow at London Institute, Royal Institution. [5]
