Dane Lovett is an artist from Brisbane, Australia. He attended high school on the Gold Coast, and graduated from QUT in 2004. [1]

Lovett made the cover art for Australian rock band Eskimo Joe's album, Black Fingernails, Red Wine, and subsequent singles. He was nominated Best Cover Art in the ARIA Music Awards of 2006.

Lovett says career highlight was winning a cake box decorating competition in 1991, with the prize of book on hippopotamuses. [2]

His exhibitions have included: Tales From Metropolis, exhibited in February, 2005, at the Art Galleries Schubert, Queensland. In early 2006, his Bellevue Rivals collection, inspired by the greyhound racing track of the same name and the gambling culture associated with it, was shown at the same gallery. Private Eye was shown in late 2005, at the Brian Moore Gallery, Sydney. In late 2006, his Ring Modulator collection was exhibited in Harrison Galleries, Sydney.

In 2005, his pieces Carlo fed by Two, Resting + 1000ml Can, Face Over Track and Inner-Metro Parking Dragon were finalists in the Qantas Spirit of Youth award. [3]
