Chris Egan (born October 26, 1986) is an Australian rules footballer in the Australian Football League.
Picked up by Collingwood as their first round draft pick in the 2004 National Draft, the aboriginal youngster showed early signs of a long-term player in his first year. From Rumbalara on the Murray, Egan made his debut against the Tigers recording an outstanding feat, with his first three kicks being on the full, at the same time, shots at goal. He overcame this to kick 2 match-winning goals the next week, but at the expense of a fine for a gesture to the crowd. He played 13 games for 7 goals in 2005 and showed signs of inconsistency in his game, but he has the potential to become a star player in the future years.
Egan has shown great potential in the 2006 season of football kicking 13 goals. A great effort for Chris Egan's second season of AFL football. Egan played 11 games in the 2006 season including the first elimination round final against Western Bulldogs, where he kicked a goal.
