File source problem with File:Sree Vallabha Temple January 1940.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Sree Vallabha Temple January 1940.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of that website's terms of use of its content. However, if the copyright holder is a party unaffiliated from the website's publisher, that copyright should also be acknowledged.
If you have uploaded other files, consider verifying that you have specified sources for those files as well. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged per Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion, F4. If the image is copyrighted and non-free, the image will be deleted 48 hours after 07:21, 17 January 2010 (UTC) per speedy deletion criterion F7. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Skier Dude (talk) 07:21, 17 January 2010 (UTC)
File copyright problem with File:P Bhaskaran.gif
[edit]Thank you for uploading File:P Bhaskaran.gif. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. FASTILYsock(TALK) 07:48, 26 February 2010 (UTC)
The article Thiruvalla P. Unnikrishnan Nair has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Needs to be completely re-written (see tags)
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Choyoołʼįįhí:Seb az86556 > haneʼ 05:36, 14 March 2010 (UTC)

Articles for deletion Deleltion a Disservice to Knowledge Seekers ]]
[edit]I forgot how to add to this. So let me add by editing.
Deletion of the article was outrageous, considering the contribution of Mr. Nair. As I explained earlier, 'TEMPLE HISTORY' is a new branch in India, especially in Kerala where temples used to be the power centres in ancient times. Being a local historian, you will definitely not find anything about him from a global search. His books are published locally. His books are referred to only in Kerala. Claims are not 'glorious' ( you could have shown more civility). He doesn't need 'glory'. For my study and reference, his works have been of great help. Many others have found them helpful. He had been a regular writer in Kerala's newspapers till he fell ill. Even foreign university professors visit him. Yet people do not know that an eminent scholar lives among them! His fame is now confined to students and professors of history.
If one does not appear in the net, 'delete'!??? Note that knowledge still lies in books; you have to bring it to the notice of the world. If you have any Keralite (a knowledgeable one) on the edit-board he/she can talk to historians like Dr. Rajan Gurukkal (Vice-Chancellor, MG University, Kottayam, Kerala, India).
I noticed your deletion today when I tried to upload 2 photos.
And 'catastrophe'? Well, well.... Wikipedia is supposed to enlighten the world. It should be proud that it is the first website that introduced Temple History and a temple historian to the world!Please bring back the article, since I am collecting more data on him. I have to upload photos as well.
Click the link you have provided; he is mentioned at many sites.
Changanassery
[edit]Replaced by trivia? Really? Read Wp:No Original Research, WP:Reliable sources, and WP:NPOV . If I removed anything it was because it was likely poorly written, containing POV, not notable or too tourist guide like and unsourced and original research. Readd material in a neutral, well written fashion with adequate sourcing and it likely won't be removed. Articles must contain adequate sourcing. I welcome your edits but please try to find sources. Wikipedia should not contain original research of dubious origin.
I see I removed this. It was added in good faith by you and not nice to have hard work removed but I'm being honest in that it warbles and is very difficult to read. If you like I can paste it into User:Rajankanjirakunnil/Changanassery and you give it a complete rewrite and try to find a few sources and I'll give it a read after you've finished , copyedit it and restore it once it is improved? Word of advice it needs serious condensing into punchy, structured paragraphs which stick to the main points.

You Have Answered
[edit]The article on the topic was well-received before it was deleted. A lot of students, university teachers and researchers approached me for further information. The article was published after systematic review by eminent persons Had it been reviewed by somebody from Wikipedia with knowledege of history of Southern India, it would not have been deleted. Now it reads worse than tourist brochure and can be added to Vatican pages.
Anyway, your comments of April 13, 2011 are worth reproducing (below). I need not waste my time......we share the same thoughts.
"I will return to editing here once some sort of justice is given, without bias towards one editor that is Giacomoreturned and the clear evidence I'm hated on here. The turnout against me at ANI is a perfect example of how seriously biased the authority is on this website. Not a single admin has seen that I've apologised for anything I said which was perceived wrongly, praised this editor and attempted to join forces with working on articles with him and tried in good faith to promote an article to GA and had entirely all my edits reverted, a GA nomination removed and continous personal attacks that I'm homophobic and a racist and nothing but a TROLL and Complete removal of hours of hard work in finding empty sources, sources added to empty paragraphs and improving content for GA.. It is very hurtful to try to put a situation right in good faith on this and have so many editors stack up against me on this with not a single adminstrator actually looking into the violation of editor policy on here. Nobody has a right to remove valid GA norms and continue to brand somebody names which simply aren't true, despite attempts to claim otherwise. Despite attempts at apologising and constructive editing and attempts to be civil I will not tolerate having hours of clearly good work and neccessary work entirely obliterated and nominations eliminated. Its against the spirit of wikipedia and is deeply concerning that nobody can see this. Its utterly sickening just how many people on here will forget any form of rules and policy to prove somebody they hate wrong and push them away. There is simply no form of justice and system on Wikipedia which tolerates certain editors breaking all the rules and having a damaging effect on actual content without justification. ♦ Dr. Blofeld 21:42, 13 April 2011 (UTC)"
